Borrowing from the aesthetics of the fashion world and celebrity culture – both recurrent influences in his artistic practice - Constantine Vraziotis has developed a distinctive, idiosyncratic style pertaining to macabre pop surrealism.
His trademark, iconic heroines are at the core of his narrative: erotic and mysterious, decadent and bizarre they invite the viewer to a universe dictated by violent, twisted elegance, a fantasy land where the lines between imagination and reality are blurred. His work explores the kingdom of forgotten promises and contemporary urban vices. Lavish and decadent, CV's paintings, feature meticulous detailing and concealed, often disturbing elements and an ever-lurking dark undertone.
Recognized in the fine arts field as well as in illustration, he has exhibited in shows, festivals and art fairs internationally, worked with leading publishing houses, and received various distinctions.
