The Minotaur was an exhibition I was especially looking forward to. I attended Hell's Half Acre last year and honestly found it to be the best thing on offer during Frieze week 2010. Back to the point, Steve Lazarides surely knows how to throw a knock-out exhibition and the Old Vic Tunnels makes for an amazing setting, infinitely adding to the artworks' impact and overall exhibition ambience. I visited the exhibition with a couple of dear friends, and we all enjoyed it immensely (although we were a little bummed by the fact that we didn't manage to get dinner seats on the spot) - once again it was stimulating on several levels. I have to say though that it felt a bit like an imitation of its previous incarnation (aka HHA), and while at it, not as good as vol. I either. Nonetheless, it makes the top list again this year.
Favorite piece (again) Doug Foster's "Chimera" video installation.
