Simoni Fontana was born in Corfu.
She studied Art Conservation and practiced this field at the Archaeological Museum of Corfu.
Simoni is one of the very few female artists actively engaged in the Greek graffiti & street art scene. Her distinctive artistic signature is characterized by an almost childlike innocence and remains effective on tiny canvases and large scale murals alike. Her references draw from Japanese iconography and manga, filtered through a western outlook, and her personal aesthetics, dictated by pop surrealism.
Her work as a street artist has been presented in galleries, festivals, magazines & websites in Greece and abroad.
She is currently living in Thessaloniki, practicing Street Art, as an artist and curator.
