Sofia Fotiadou
Sofia Fotiadou’s images suggest an alternative artistic proposal of pure and natural creativity,
which stands against the fast, chaotic rhythms of everyday life, governed by mass-produced,
disposable items. The colourful iconography creates an atmosphere of great excitement, when
the viewer recognises his own version of Paradise, in the work of art. The flowers of Sofia Fotia-
dou are not considered as ‘still life’, because they are rooted within all of us and symbolise an
eternal Present.
