Aphrodite Ioannou

Aphrodite Ioannou was brought into this fascinating world during the summer of 1978 through an interracial chromosome exchange from Greece, England and Smyrni.

Her love for art and anything creative urges her to seek artistic expression in various forms.
Free hand pencil drawing, design / illustration and digital photography are the main fields of her interest and therefore, she tries to spend as much time as possible in both evolving and expe- rimenting with new techniques. She has attended seminars for Photoshop and Illustrator but main-ly she is self taught.

She is inspired by people she meets in her every day life, places she visits, movie she watches, music she listens to, books she reads and last but not least other artists. She is particularly interested in depicting emotions in her portraits.

Lastly, she undertakes the design of customized vector portraits using high definition photographs as reference.
