Zoi Kakouri

In my work I am interested in exploring the concept of space through the representation and,
at the same time, the refutation of its properties. The game of climax and the projection of transparency form the central axis of my work. Transparency as perceived in the actual sense
of the term, but also in the sense of our knowledge and conception. The human’s relationship
with nature and the sublime, for me, is defined by the way transparency is used. A visible tran-sparency that at times lightens and exposes while at other times protects and marks out its in-
ternal or external world in a visible game of intimacy and control.
