Alexandros Mavrogiannis

Lives and works in Athens. Since he was 18 years old he has been into street art, also poster & canvas creating, designing fabric toys and various other constructions, as well as illustration among others.

Common denominator throughout his work is always the urban landscape. He wanders in the streets of Athens looking out for old buildings and dirty surfaces of no value.. In the past he has worked as a tattoo designer and body artist in Athenian studios.

He has collaborated with magazines, such as VANDAL ART and CARPE DIEM. He has also worked with CAR & DRIVER and SPORTY magazines, within the context of the RALLY ACROPOLIS cultural festival that took place in the Olympic Stadium of Athens in 2005. He collaborated with ZOLTAN TRIBE in one of his recent art shows, titled «STREET CASE», in Xanthi.

He is the creator of the «DIRTY MEAT» project that deals with McDONALDS fast food – a project participations from street & graffiti artists, graffix designers and even architects from Greece and around the world – soon enough they will be decorating the urban void with posters and stickers.
