Dimitra Giannakakou-Razelou

Born in Athens. Greece in 1981, lives and works in Athens. Greece. She studied painting at London
Institute of fine art, Camberwell the period 2000-2001 in London , UK. She studied painting and
had additional courses in print-screen at the Aristotelio University the period 2001-2002 in
Thessaloniki, Greece.

She studied painting and had additional course in video and sound at the University Willem de
Kooning Academie, Hogeschool (program Erasmus-Socrates) the period 2005-2006 in Rotterdam,
NL, where she created in collaboration with Rob Deliessen in 2006 a public projection, matrix
animation of “the human in the universe” displayed on the K.P.N. building in Rotterdam (height
of 88m). She Studied painting and had additional courses photography and multimedia at Athens
School of Fine Arts the period 2002-2008 and graduated in 2008, degree in painting with honors
(graduation grade 29/30), under the supervision of professors R. Papaspirou, M. Spiliopoulos.

She took part in seminars in K.E.T.E (Research Centre of Art and Sciences) under the supervision
of international sculptor Takis and took a scholarship from K.E.T.E (Research Centre of Art and
Sciences) working as an assistant of international sculptor Takis in 2009 in Athens, Greece.
